HPUSN Softbox Lighting Kit Photography Studio Light with 20-inch X 28-inch Reflector and 2pcs 85W 5500K E27 Bulb, Professional Photo Studio Equipment for Portrait Fashion Photography Video, etc.

  • High Quality Material: The softbox is made of high-quality PET and maintains good reflective performance in a relatively closed softbox environment and under long-term bulb heating. Thus, the softbox can scatter the light, provide the ultimate soft light beam and remove shadows to take perfect pictures. Meanwhile, the softbox does not release unpleasant odors when the bulb is continuously lighting.
  • Energy Efficient Bulbs: With a standard E27 socket, 2 x 85W CFL bulbs supplied are equal to the 800W incandescent bulb in total to save energy up to 80% and last approx 8000 hours. With 5500K color temperature, the bulbs produce well balanced pure white daylight light and continuous uniform light, providing a good photographic environment.
  • Suitable for Various Photography: HPUSN softbox is ideal for use in studios. It can produce a great lighting effect, the best choice for photography enthusiasts, novices, semi-professional and professional photographers. Suitable for studio portraits shooting, portrait shooting, fashion photo shooting, children's photo shooting or still life shots, etc.
  • 210° Rotatable Head & Adjustable Stand: With an independent lock, the softbox can be rotated 210° to provide diverse photographic needs. The stand made of aluminum alloy offers good strength and stability. The 3-section column design with single-action locks allows a quick and precise height adjustment from 26 inches to 78.75 inches.

I have a YouTube channel in which I need really good lighting to take pictures, as well as, to do tutorials. I was stunned at how beautiful other people's pictures and videos looked and couldn't figure out why mine didn't look so great( mind you I was new to all that at the time) so I asked someone and they told me that this light was the reason! I was absolutely mind blown that a light could make such a Huge difference. It was delivered and of course I had to rip it open and put it together to see what the fuss was about and boy was I shocked! This light is not only AFFORDABLE, comes with 2 lights and a carrying case, and is extremely light, BUT it's so easy to put together! I will say I wish it came with instructions being this is the first time I've ever put one together, but I figured it out and so can you! If you're in the market for one of these lights then you def need this deal!!! Don't think just buy! You'll thank me later!

This is a great soft box-kit for someone who wants to dabble with studio lighting, but may be intimidated by strobes, remotes, cables and batteries and all the stuff that this typically involves. This kit comes with everything that is needed to be able to shoot portraits, products, food or things to sell online, etc. It includes the soft box with a diffusion panel and a storage pouch, two fluorescent 85 watts 5500k light bulbs that are stored in Styrofoam boxes (in case one breaks), and a light stand. Everything is neatly stored in the included duffel bag. The setup is easy and super fast: expand the light-stand, open the soft box like an umbrella, attach it to the light stand, screw in the light bulb, attach the diffusion screen to the front of the soft box, fixing it with Velcro. Plug in the power cord and switch it on. The light of the bulb is reflected by the silvery material inside the soft box. The result is a neutral, pleasing soft light on a large area. Because of the constant light source you can see in real-time how the light illuminates subject, where and how the shadows fall, and you can make adjustments as you go. Talk about instant gratification! And once you're done shooting, the kit is broken down and stowed away just as fast as the setup was. Everything in the kit stores neatly in the supplied duffel bag and is ready for the next use. So, if you're in the market for an easy-to-use soft box, I can only recommend you giving this one a try.

This softbox lighting kit was easy and simple to use. Setup (and deconstruction) takes only a few minutes and is pretty intuitive. The entire kit stores away nicely in the included storage bag. It comes with a spare light bulb as well so that's a bonus. The stand is easy to use, pretty standard use of screw locks. The light requires being plugged in, and then it can be switched on and off. The light is diffused nice and evenly. I used it for portraits inside an indoor studio. It evened out the shadows in my subject's face and presented a better lit portrait. I would recommend this as an intro softbox for a photographer looking to test out an easy to use softbox before committing to more expensive options. See my attached photos for the packaging as well as the put together softbox light stand.

This softbox has a well lit bulb and the output is great for a light by itself. I wish it came with a warmer bulb so that it could have two light settings to switch between but it still serves its purpose well. The metal structure that solidifies the shape of the softbox is sturdy and collapsible. I would feel comfortable with transporting this with ease in the bag it comes with. When positioning the softbox at each notch, the softbox will make a clicking sound to notify you of each position. The screw that secures the softbox at the tip of the stand is made of plastic and the screw is metal. In a 10ft. x1 0 ft. room when the lightstand is extended to the highest point, you may need at most a 6 ft. extension cord to help you light up your subject if the power outlet is all the way across the other side of the room. Overall it's light and sturdy and easily mobile. For someone needing a light and budget conscious or a novice or looking to up their game, this light is for you.

I'm a semi-pro sports photographer looking to expand into Portrait photography. To gain traction in Portrait photography, you need to get a softbox, external flash and a few other things. But softbox is key, I researched a lot and wanted to get a good kit. The HPUSN is reasonably priced and pretty much what I need needed in terms of features; a rectangle box, a stand and a decent bulb (two in the kit). So, I've had this for a week and spent a lot time playing around and taking self-portraits as no one else in the house will let me take their pictures. Anyways, the light power is not overwhelming and just right, the box has the flexibility to be vertical and horizontal, the nylon cover provide soft lighting and the stand has sufficient height to raise the box over the head of the 6 foot subject. If you are looking for a well priced kit that will last you a while, this is the right one. I'm sure I'll get a lot of use out of this kit and take great pictures. You will not be disappointed with this purchase and instead will be glad that you got the HPSUN Softbox kit.

I bought this light for video work and it works fine for that purpose. It delivers pretty nice light distribution from 3-5 feet and its brightness is enough to properly expose with iso100 1/50s f2. Materials quality is ok. All the stuff goes in a bag, softbox goes with its pouch. There are 2 bulbs, but the softbox works with only one (so I guess the second one should be used as a spare one). Softbox material feels pretty sturdy. Stand is too lightweight, but should be good enough for studio. Bulbs look of a high quality, the light that they produce is nice. As I said the light is great for video. Also it should be enough for portraits with 1/200sec, iso100-200 up to f2.8 (if you go higher consider to increase iso). The light to shade gradient is a bit harsh (for my taste), but it can be mitigated with the second light source. Overall impression of the lhe light is positive, it should work perfectly for product photo/videography.

Full disclosure, i have been reimbursed the amount paid by the manufacturer. I have been looking for for studio lights for a while now, and this opportunity has come at a very good time. I just received this about a week ago, and I do like it very much! I am now planning now to spend my own money to buy one more of this same light. The other lights from different manufacturers were much more expensive, and this is on a good price range for me. I personally can't say the difference between other competitor's equipment, but they are good. I appreciate how they included extra bulb! I like the color of the light, they are very good white, not in any way yellow-ish. But, be careful in handling the bulb after use. It does get hot. It's my first time i have seen florescent bulb getting hot, maybe their light life expectancy is not as long and hence the extra bulb? As for the week that i have (sparingly) used it, I'm very happy with it!

Wow just received my softbox today and let me tell you it is definitely worth the purchase. Super easy to setup . Literally took me 5 minutes to get setup. I shot a few portraits and I am impressed. Such a nice pure light to the models face. I really loved the softbox material. Very nice quality softbox. It was very light weight. I can definitely see myself using this for my portraits down the road. The price is such a great deal for the quality you get out of this setup. I attached a few samples from the shoot I took without any editing. It’s amazing how much you can get out of it when you just work with different positions of lighting!

This softbox has blown me away. I got this for product photography and portraits. The kit includes a compact carry bag, a spare bulb (both bulbs are packaged in protective polystyrene containers for protection), a nice lightweight stand, cable with on/off switch, reflective softbox and diffusion screen which attaches with velcro. I actually can not believe how well this performs for the price! As shown in the photos, this can be used to fully light whatever subject you are taking a photograph of, as well as being used to add creative lighting and shadows for portraits. If you are looking to get your first lighting set-up, seriously consider this!

I'm not a photographer. I just need a wee bit, ok, a whole lot better DIFFUSED lighting for conducting podcasts. I DID NOT want to spend a lot of money on lighting but the old lamp on the desk wasn't going to get the job done. This unit makes my images (and me) come to life. Really! I highly recommend it. Now, to be clear, this is NOT a professional/industrial type of product. The stand is metal w/plastic wingnuts and grip assembly but it does a GREAT job--if you don't decide to apply too much pressure on the fittings. They grip just fine as intended. Also very much appreciate the on/off switch on the cord meaning you don't have to plug and unplug it. For the price the HPUSN fills the bill and does a great job.
